Starting as a Centre for Transportation Studies in 1966, the Transport Institute has over four decades of experience in many transportation-related activities at the University of Manitoba. Today, the Institute is involved in three primary activities: research, outreach, and education. Our research projects are focused on a variety of contemporary issues in transportation, logistics, and supply chain management (SCM). Since July 2005, the Transport Institute has been part of the I. H. Asper School of Business.
